The Satsang Skill Development Centre (SSDC) in Madanapalle was established in November 2018 as a part of The Satsang Foundation's initiative. This center focuses on nurturing the growth and capabilities of young adults, primarily aged between 18 and 25, residing in the Annamayya District of Andhra Pradesh. The primary objective is to enhance their employability and readiness for the job market. Our current education system heavily relies on memorization, leaving students insufficiently equipped to meet the demands of various industries. As a consequence, many graduates and undergraduates lack the practical skills needed for immediate employment and are unprepared to confront the challenges of the professional world. This disparity between the skills required by industries and those possessed by individuals poses significant obstacles to talent recruitment and retention. To bridge this gap, SSDC undertakes the task of providing hands-on training and essential life skills to young individuals. Through these efforts, the center instills a sense of confidence and expertise that aligns with the demands of the job market. Moreover, SSDC offers a pathway for these young adults to pursue their ambitions and aspirations effectively.
